WEF Davos summit: Sitharaman from India, three chief ministers to attend

New Delhi/Davos, May 5 (PTI) The annual meeting of the World Economic Forum to be held in Davos this month will be attended by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as well as chief ministers of three states and over 100 CEOs from India.

Around 300 government leaders, including 50 heads of state, are expected to attend the meeting.

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj S Bommai and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy will also attend the meeting. The summit will be held from May 22-26.

Maharashtra minister and chief minister Uddhav Thackeray’s son Aaditya Thackeray and Telangana minister and chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s son KT Rama Rao will also be there.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and some senior Union ministers are also expected to attend the WEF summit. This summit is one of the most prominent gatherings of world leaders globally.
