Two big executives of Ola left the company, told this big reason?

New Delhi. After the recent incidents of fire in Ola electric scooter, now the company has got another setback. It is reported that Ola’s Vehicle Commerce CEO Arun Sirdeshmukh and Chief of Group Strategy Amit Aanchal are leaving the company. According to the news of moneycontrol, the company has got this setback at a time when Ola is struggling with delay in its listing plans and many questions are being raised on the Ola electric scooter even on quality issues.

According to the report, “Sirdeshmukh was also the market listing in-charge for Ola Electric, but he decided to leave. Amit to Ola IPO Was to lead and he also played a key role in fund raising, but for now he has taken this decision due to delay in listing plan.”

Apart from this, another source said that Amit Aanchal had less responsibilities after GR Arun Kumar took over as Group CFO. Aanchal was persuaded to stay till the IPO, but now it is getting delayed.” Arun Sirdeshmukh was previously the head of Amazon Fashion India. He joined Ola in April last year and was appointed as the chief executive officer of its vehicle commerce platform Ola Cars in October.

Ola spokesperson has confirmed to Moneycontrol that Sirdeshmukh is leaving the company, but denied the news of Aanchal leaving the company. He said that he is still a part of the company. The spokesperson said that as Head of Group Strategy and Corporate Finance, Amit continues to be a member of a key leadership team. He is handling all the fund raising and investment responsibility in the entire group.

About Arun Sirdeshmukh, he said, “As you already know, our group CFO Arun Kumar GR now has an expanded role in managing day-to-day operations. This includes overseeing the GTM (Go to Market) ceremony and hence Arun Sirdeshmukh, who was leading the GTM, has now had to leave.”
