Jitendra Tyagi alias accused of giving Wasim Rizvi
During the hearing on the bail application of ) it was remarked by the Supreme Court that they are spoiling the whole environment. Rizvi was arrested in January in a hate speech case. After not getting bail from the Uttarakhand High Court in this case, he has approached the Supreme Court.
During the hearing of the bail plea, the Supreme Court has issued a notice to the state government and asked it to file a reply. The Supreme Court said that before making others aware, one needs to become sensitive himself. They are not sensitive. They are spoiling the environment. A bench headed by Justice Ajay Rastogi has issued notice to the Uttarakhand government on Rizvi’s plea and has fixed May 17 for next hearing.
The Supreme Court has told the state government’s counsel that it is not just looking into what has happened but is looking into the entirety of punishment, custody and bail. Senior advocate Siddharth Luthra appeared on behalf of Jitendra Tyagi alias Waseem Rizvi and said that Rizvi is in jail for the last 4 months in this case. During this, the court questioned what is the Parliament of Religions.
Then Luthra said that we are Aryasamaji but we have seen the video that some people in saffron dress gather there and give speeches. The court said that the atmosphere is being disturbed. Stay in peace and enjoy life. Then Luthra said that absolutely, there is a need to sensitize the people towards the country and the citizens.
