New Delhi
Regarding the situation on the Line of Actual Control in Eastern Ladakh, Indian Army Chief General MM Naravane said that even though there has been disengagement (soldiers have gone from face to face) at some places, but the threat has not subsided. The Army Chief said that if war comes, the Indian Army will be victorious and the Army is fully prepared to deal with any situation.

We have become much stronger than before – Naravane
General Naravane said that the deployment of troops on the LAC is almost the same from both sides as it was last year and the deployment from our side has increased. He said that we will continue talks with China but we are fully prepared to deal with any situation. General Naravane said that the situation that arose on the Northern Border (China Border) gave us an opportunity to strengthen ourselves further. In one-and-a-half years, we have become stronger in the LAC. The infrastructure has grown tremendously. Infrastructure has been made to accommodate 25 thousand additional soldiers, storage capacity for ammunition has increased and if more is needed in future, then infrastructure has been prepared accordingly.

Deployment in large numbers in LAC – Army Chief
He said that China made a large number of deployments on the LAC only then there was a situation of tension. China has built a lot of infrastructure. It has to be seen whether it is a permanent cantonment or whether China will remove it in the coming time. General Naravane said that disengagement has to be done before the point of dispute, that is, the soldiers of both the countries who are facing each other have to be repelled.

Will deal firmly with the Chinese army, Army Chief Naravane gave a message to China as well as to Pakistan
The issue will be resolved only after the consent of both the sides- Army Chief
Only when this happens, we can think of descalation, that is, we can send the soldiers back to the depth area a little behind the LAC. When such confidence is formed, only then can the thought of removing the deployment of troops from there be thought of. When trust is restored, then the deployment will be reduced on the basis of consent from both the sides. Can the dispute between India and China escalate even more?

India-China Talks: 14th round of military talks between India and China is on, will there be a solution this time?
Situation still stable and under control: Army Chief
The Army Chief said that the situation is still stable and under control. It is hoped that talks will lead to a solution but whether the situation will be more tense is difficult to say. But if this happens, then war is the last option. When war comes, we are ready to win. He said that we are not behind China in infrastructure development in the border area.
