New Delhi: Recharge plan hike soon: Inflation is very high right now. Even before the relief from inflation, telecom companies are preparing to give their users a big shock once again. Soon telecom service providers may raise the prices of plans for Airtel, Reliance Jio and VI. This information has come to light from a report. If telecom companies have to buy 5G spectrum, they will have to pay between Rs 1 lakh crore and Rs 1.1 lakh crore. Companies are already burdened with debt. So you may have to take out a loan to pay off the amount. To pay off this debt, telecom companies may have to increase the cost of plans.
There may be an increase in tariff plans
According to reports, the price of tariff plans may increase in the second quarter of 2022-23. This increase can be up to 20%. Therefore, the price of tariff plans may be increased after June. Companies have already increased their plans. Now, once again, consumers are going to be hit hard.
Users will have to pay more
Investing in networks and spectrum is a daunting task for the telecom industry. This is because the average revenue per user has to be increased. Growth in average revenue per user (ARPU) was low in 2021-22. In the year 2022-23, the tariff plans are expected to increase by 15 to 20 per cent. Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vi had hiked tariff plans six months ago. In December 2021, tariff plan prices were increased by 20 to 25 per cent.
