Often, novice drivers are advised to buy the most inexpensive car, since minor accidents are inevitable in the first couple, after which the car will be cheaper to repair. But if earlier even the simplest Russian cars had an airbag and ABS, now this is no longer the case. Therefore, Denis Migal, General Director of the Fresh Auto car dealership network, believes that the “tattered” or anti-crisis Lada Granta is not the best purchase for novice drivers.
“Of course, the absence of elementary protective options, such as airbags, further reduces confidence in the reliability of the car, but this will be compensated by its low cost. It is better not to buy simplified Lada Granta for motorists without driving experience – without ABS, which prevents skidding during heavy braking and allows you to maintain controllability of the car, the risk of an accident increases.– Denis Migal shared his thoughts.
The cost of a simplified Lada Granta sedan starts at 678.3 thousand rubles, excluding a trade-in discount of 20 thousand rubles or the Lada Finance loan program. Thus, the cost of the car has decreased by almost 50 thousand rubles compared to the previous basic version of the Standard, which is now abolished, and when compared with the full-fledged Classic, the difference in price is already 83.2 thousand rubles. In addition to the sedan, the Classic “22 configuration offers a liftback and a Lada Granta station wagon, as well as a “sports” version of Drive Active.
