The decline continues for the third consecutive day, Sensex-Nifty closed in the red mark, selling in the IT sector – News

Stock Market Closing: The stock market has seen ups and downs throughout the day. After the whole day’s trading session, both Sensex and Nifty have closed with a fall. Sensex slipped 152.18 points, or 0.29 percent, to close at 52,541.39. Apart from this, the Nifty index fell by 39.95 points or 0.25 percent to close at the level of 15,692.15.

Sensex’s top-16 stocks fell
Out of the top-30 stocks of Sensex, 16 stocks have closed in the red mark. With this, 14 stocks have closed in the green. NTPC shares were top losers after today’s trading. Apart from this, shares of Infosys, Reliance, HUL, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Power Grid, Nestle India, ITC, Sun Pharma, HCL Tech, Kotak Bank, TCS, HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel and Titan closed in the red mark.

Shares closing in green mark
Apart from this, talking about the shares closing in the green mark, Bajaj Finserv has been the top gainer in this. Its stock has seen a rise of 4.24 percent today. Apart from this, the shares of Bajaj Finance, Tata Steel, LT, SBI, Asian Paints, Maruti, M&M, Dr Reddy, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Ultra Chemical, IndusInd Bank and Axis Bank closed in the green.

How was the sectoral index?
Today there is mixed trading in the sectoral index. After today’s trading, Nifty Bank, Nifty Auto, Financial Services, Pharma, Healthcare and Consumer Durable sectors closed with gains. Apart from this, selling has dominated even today in Nifty Oil and Gas Sector, Realty, Private Bank, PSU Bank, Metal, Media, IT and FMCG Sectors.
