Stock Market Closing: The stock market closed on a decline for the sixth consecutive day today and all the sectoral indices of BSE have closed with a fall. The decline of smallcap, midcap has dragged the market down and its effect has been visible throughout the day.

At the time of today’s market closing, the BSE Sensex closed at 51,360.42, down 135.37 points, or 0.26 percent. On the other hand, the Nifty of NSE has closed trading at 15,293.50 with a fall of 67.10 points or 0.44 percent.
At the close of today’s trading, 15 out of 50 stocks of Nifty 50 were trading with a green mark and 35 stocks were trading with a red mark of decline. Bank Nifty, however, has closed in the green mark and it has climbed 125.95 points or 0.39 per cent to close at the level of 32,743.

Talking about today’s falling stocks, Titan is down 6.10 percent and Wipro was down 3.77 percent. Shree Cement closed down 3.66 per cent and HDFC Life 3.29 per cent. SBI Life has closed business on a fall of 3.10 percent.
Today’s Stocks Rising
Bajaj Finserv closed up 2.76 percent and Bajaj Finance 2.73 percent in today’s top climbers. Coal India was showing a rise of 2.25 percent, JSW Steel 2.11 percent. A jump of 1.79 percent was being seen in Reliance Industries.
