The victory of the crew of Dmitry Sotnikov from the KAMAZ-master team ended the tenth stage of the Dakar rally-marathon, which takes place in Saudi Arabia.
On Wednesday, the race participants had to overcome a 375 km special stage. The best result among trucks was shown by the Russian pilot Dmitry Sotnikov. He covered the distance in 3 hours 14 minutes 15 seconds.
Another representative of the KAMAZ-master team, Eduard Nikolaev, had the second result, losing a minute and 27 seconds. The third was another Russian Andrey Karginov, who lost a minute and 49 seconds.
In the overall standings, the leadership of Sotnikov has strengthened – 35 hours 58 minutes 8 seconds. Nikolaev is on the second position with a lag of 10 minutes and 18 seconds, the third – Anton Shibalov – 44 minutes and 27 seconds.
Stage 11 will take place on Thursday. The length of the special stage will be 346 km.
