Russian biathletes became third in the relay in Ruhpolding


The Russian women’s biathlon team took third place in the relay race at the World Cup in Ruhpolding.

On Friday, the program of the next stage of the Biathlon World Cup included a 4×6 km relay race for women.

The athletes of the French national team were the fastest to overcome the track. They used 4 extra rounds and finished first in 1 hour 10 minutes and 50 seconds.

After 35 seconds, the Swedish team came to the finish line, which used only two extra cartridges.

The Russian national team, represented by Valeria Vasnetsova, Svetlana Mironova, Irina Kazakevich and Kristina Reztsova, finished third, more than a minute behind the French.
