Poor act of Imran Khan, took away the official BMW car of 15 crores as soon as he left the chair

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has claimed that Imran Khan had taken a BMW X5, which was originally the prime minister’s office car for foreign delegations, while leaving the prime minister’s residence. According to the report of Dawn news, Aurangzeb said that a Prime Minister can keep cars in his use only according to the law. Imran Khan is already targeting the gifts received from abroad.

Minister Maryam further said that the deposed prime minister insisted that he wanted to keep the car, although he had previously criticized previous governments for having expensive cars in the Prime Minister’s House. He said that when that car was bought in 2016, its price was 30 million Pakistani rupees, which is now 60 million Pakistani rupees. If bomb-proofing and bullet-proofing are taken into account, the vehicle is now worth around 150 million Pakistani rupees.

‘Took bribe for appointment of government official’
As reported by Dawn News, Maryam Aurangzeb said that Imran Khan reduced the gift retention percentage to 20 percent and then increased it to 50 percent. The minister said that he then bought the gifts from Farah Khan, a close friend of Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi, who was earning billions by taking bribes for the appointment of every government official in Punjab.

The minister also told the media that instead of declaring and depositing a handgun gifted by a diplomat from another country to Toshakhana, Khan kept the gun with him. Referring to Khan, the information minister said, “You are a thief, a cheater, a liar and a swindler, but trying to project yourself as a holy man only to hide wrongdoing and corruption.”
