NTPC Q4 Results: The country’s largest power generation company NTPC has declared its results for the fourth quarter of 2021-22. NTPC has made a net profit of Rs 5,167 crore during the quarter, which is an increase of 14 per cent. Whereas earlier there was a profit of Rs 4,542 crore in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2020-21. At the same time, in the third quarter of 2021-22, the company had a profit of Rs 4499 crore, which is 14.8 percent more.
In the fourth quarter of 2021-22, the company’s revenue grew by 23 per cent to Rs 37,085 crore as compared to Rs 30,103 crore in the same quarter last year. At the same time, the revenue in the third quarter of 2021-22 was Rs 33,293 crore.
If we look at the full financial year of 2021-22, the company’s profit has been Rs 16,676 crore as against Rs 14,635 crore in 2020-21. The revenue has been Rs 1,32,6689 crore in 2021-22 while the revenue in 2020-21 was Rs 1,11,531 crore.
NTPC has also announced a dividend of Rs 3 per share to the shareholders for 2021-22. Which is in addition to the interim dividend announced in February of Rs. NTPC shares closed at Rs 149.6 with a gain of 1.6 per cent in Friday’s trading session. In the last one year, the stock of NTPC has given returns of around 34 per cent to the investors.
