As the economy is making a comeback to the pre-Covid level, the expectations of the traders are increasing. Similarly, companies providing solutions in the field of cleaning are also excited about doing business in India. Jatinder Kaul, Managing Director, Carcher India, says, “Hospitality industry including hotels, restaurants, malls coming out of the grip of Kovid, in the coming times, industries working in the field of sanitation are expected to grow by about 25 percent. Hopefully, when the market expands, all the industries operating in the area will also benefit.”
Industry affected during Corona period
As such, industries like steel, mining, cement, food processing etc. were running during the Corona period. But, the hospitality industry was closed for the last two years due to the grip of Kovid. Its effect was more on the people who made the items related to cleanliness. But now the situation is changing. It is worth mentioning that the annual turnover of cleaning solutions and machines in India’s business sector is about 600 crore rupees and in the coming time, the potential growth of which is expected to be 25 percent.
India has unlimited potential
Carcher India believes that the domestic market has unlimited potential in a country with a population of 1.4 billion. Although, in terms of business, about 550-600 crores of business is done in this market right now, but if 20 percent of India’s population also buys a product, then this sector can write a new record of growth. In the coming time, we anticipate a growth of 15 percent in this sector as well.
