KTM’s new sports bike launched, will get tremendous performance with powerful engine

New Delhi. Bajaj Auto on Saturday launched the new 2022 KTM RC 390 (2022 KTM RC 390) in the Indian market. The new sport bike has been priced at ₹3.14 lakh (ex-showroom), which is around ₹36,000 more than the old model. The updated motorcycle will get better performance along with new styling.

The new 2022 KTM RC 390 has been launched with several major styling updates. It gives direct competition to Kawasaki Ninja 300 and TVS Apache RR310 in the Indian market.

Big update in design
The new bike gets a brand new front headlamp with LED lighting. The new headlamps get LED indicators, while earlier the indicators were placed above the rearview mirrors. These are design updates similar to the new-gen RC200 sport bike that was launched earlier. Apart from this, the bike has also been given a new paint scheme and design for the side fairing. It gets a 13.7-litre fuel tank along with redesigned tail section as well as side-slung exhaust.

The bike is equipped with international features
The new RC390 has also been listed online with new features as seen in the global model. It also gets a new TCS (Traction Control System), cornering ABS, a quickshifter, a TFT-display and multifunction switchgear, which are also seen on the new 390 Adventure and 390 Duke.

Engine will get 373cc
Talking about its engine, it gets the same BS6 373cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as before. This engine is equipped with a six-speed gearbox. It produces 42.9bhp power at 9,000rpm and 37Nm peak torque at 7,000rpm.
