New Delhi. Most of the people in the world learn to drive a two-wheeler only after they become an adult. However, by that time, the learning curve in children starts to decrease significantly. Like many other disciplines, if one wants to make a career in bike-riding, then the art of riding a bike should also be learned in childhood. Keeping this in mind, many bike makers have manufactured mini bikes, in which different types of engines can be seen.
Kawasaki company has also recently launched one such bike which children can ride. The 2023 Kawasaki Electrode Electric Balance Bike is for children between the ages of 3 and 8. It is a small balance bike with an electric motor. This bike is specially made for those kids who want to experience bike riding from a very young age and want to learn the art of riding.
The biggest difference between Kawasaki Electrode and other balance bikes is that an electric motor is seen in Kawasaki’s bike. This electric motor is a 250 watt brushless DC hub mounted unit. It is completely sealed and due to this it is also waterproof. The Kawasaki electrode is powered by a 36V 5.1Ah battery pack mounted inside the frame.
According to Kawasaki, the run time of this bike is about 2.5 hours. It also takes 2.5 hours to charge this bike. Due to the battery pack, the slim hard tail and chunky top section of this bike is seen. The frame of this bike is also quite unique and suspension is not present in its front end too.
On the front side of the Kawasaki electrodes, there is a white blank space where the biker’s racing number is pasted. Something similar was seen in Kawasaki’s off-road motorcycle range. Even the color and graphics scheme of the bike is similar to the Kawasaki KX and KLX range.
In this bike, the riding position can also be easily adjusted according to the needs of the rider. The seat and handlebar are adjustable and the handlebar can be changed for the rest of the design.
