Jindal Stainless’s Q4 net profit more than doubles to Rs 749.88 crore

New Delhi, May 2 (Language) Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL) reported the fourth quarter of the last financial year.

Net profit has more than doubled.

The company’s consolidated net profit for the fourth quarter of the financial year ended March rose 156 per cent to Rs 749.88 crore. Giving this information on Monday, the company said that its profit has increased mainly due to increase in earnings.

The company’s net profit stood at Rs 292.61 crore in the same quarter a year ago.

In a communication sent to the stock exchanges, JSL said that its net income increased to Rs 6,582.84 crore in January-March, 2022 from Rs 3,926.30 crore in the same quarter of 2020-21.

The company’s total expenses for the quarter under review stood at Rs 5,885.19 crore, as against Rs 3,564.82 crore in the previous quarter.

In a separate statement, JSL said that it has been able to perform well during the quarter due to favorable policies for supply chain and better management of products.

Jindal Stainless Managing Director Abhyuday Jindal had recently told PTI during an interview that his company is preparing to invest in the renewable energy sector to set up 300 MW of solar and wind capacity in Rajasthan, Haryana and Odisha. Is.
