ITBP will reach faster to rescue people trapped in disaster in hilly areas, 3000 drivers are being given ‘special’ training

New Delhi: Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) teams will be able to reach even faster to rescue the people trapped in the disaster in the mountainous areas. ITBP has made swampy tracks for the first time to provide better driving training. Training has started in the form of a trial on these marshy tracks. ITBP Soon the cross country is also looking to expand this driving training area with multi-driving training track with speed breaker, zigzag, steep slope gradient and ditch track.

Incidents of people getting trapped due to the slipping of mountains keep happening every day. Sometimes due to heavy rains, there are very swampy roads in the mountainous area. In such a situation, ITBP teams have to face a lot of difficulty to reach these disaster areas. In view of this, ITBP has started training the drivers in swampy roads.

According to ITBP spokesperson Vivek Kumar Pandey, ITBP’s transport battalion is stationed in Chandigarh. The hilly areas start very close to Chandigarh. In the Bahalana camp, the drivers are being trained on the swampy track. This is being done for the first time in the history of ITBP. ITBP has about 3,000 drivers. Everyone will be given this training. New drivers will also be given similar training.

ITBP will introduce training to its drivers like Cross Country, Speed ​​Breaker, Jig Jack, Steep Slope Gradient and Ditch to meet every situation. This type of training will also be started within the next 4 to 6 months.
