Delhi Capitals beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 21 runs in the 50th match of the Indian Premier League 2022, thanks to strong games from David Warner (92) and Rovman Powell (67). In the match, Sunrisers team won the toss and invited Delhi to bat first, after which they scored 207 runs in the stipulated 20 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. In response to this score of Delhi Capitals, Sunrisers team could score only 186 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.
For Delhi, Warner scored his fourth half-century this season and scored an unbeaten 92 off 58 balls against his former team. Rovman Powell scored an unbeaten 67 off 35 balls. For Delhi, Khaleel Ahmed took three wickets for 30 runs and Shardul Thakur took two wickets for 44 runs. Delhi are now in fifth place with ten points from ten matches, a gain of two places.

Powell took 19 runs in Malik’s last over with three fours and a six. It was a bad day for Malik, who conceded 52 runs in four overs without getting any wickets despite taking five wickets against Gujarat Titans on April 27 itself.
