Platform ticket will help
Now passengers can start their journey in the train by taking a platform ticket, but after that the ticket will have to be made by going to the ticket checker. The TTE will have to be contacted immediately after starting the journey by taking the platform ticket.
The special thing is that many times the train seat is not vacant, yet the passengers can continue their journey. According to the rules of the railways, if the seat is not vacant in the train, the TTE can refuse to give you a reserve seat, but cannot stop you from traveling. Accordingly, if the passenger does not have a reservation, then with a penalty charge of only Rs 250, he can get the ticket made for his destination. For this the remaining fare will be recovered after deducting the cost of the ticket taken by the passenger.
It is worth noting that according to this rule of railways, platform ticket not only makes one eligible to go to the platform, but also to board the train. The special thing in this is that the passenger will also have to pay the fare of the same class in which they will be traveling.
