Indian Bank introduces digital broking solution

Chennai, May 7 (PTI) As part of its digitization mission, state-owned Indian Bank has launched a digital broking solution called ‘e-broking’ wherein customers can open demat and trading accounts.

In a statement, the bank said that the launch of ‘e-broking’ is an important step towards offering a completely digital offering to the customers. According to the statement, “e-broking facilitates quick and paperless demat and trading account opening and is integrated with the bank’s mobile banking application, Indosys.”

Ashwani Kumar, Executive Director, Bank said, “This is a significant initiative in line with our digitization mission of providing all financial products and services to our customers at an affordable and single platform.

The bank said that this initiative will help its customers to invest easily in the initial public issue of Life Insurance Corporation of India.
