Officials recently announced that due to the closure of the northern runway of Dubai Airport, many flights will be diverted to other airports. Due to the runway upgrade at Dubai International Airport, around 1000 flights will be diverted every week to DXB, Dubai World Central as well as other terminals of Sharjah airport, an official said.
