India Corona Updates: Corona cases decreased again in the country, 2487 new cases surfaced in 24 hours, 2878 patients were discharged

New DelhiThe Union Ministry of Health (MoHFW) has released the latest Corona Cases Today figures on Sunday. In the last 24 hours, 2487 new cases of Kovid were reported in the country, while 2878 patients have recovered and gone home. During this, 13 people have also died. After these figures, the number of active cases in India is at 17,692.

The death toll in the country has reached 5,24,214. The number of patients under treatment is 0.04 percent of the total cases of infection, while the national recovery rate from Kovid-19 has been recorded at 98.74 percent. According to the data, a decrease of 404 cases was registered in the number of patients under treatment for Kovid-19 in the last 24 hours. The daily positivity rate was recorded at 0.61 percent and the weekly infection rate was 0.62 percent.

According to the ministry, the number of patients who have recovered from this disease so far has gone up to 4,25,79,693 while the death rate is 1.22 percent. So far 191.32 crore doses have been given under the nationwide anti-COVID-19 vaccination programme.
