Playing first in this match, Durham’s team was reduced to 223 runs. In reply, Sussex scored a mammoth score of 538 runs. In which Indian batsman Cheteshwar Pujara and Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan contributed significantly. Playing an innings of 203 runs, Pujara scored his second double century in this championship. With him, Rizwan played an innings of 79 runs and after the fall of 5 wickets for 350, the team’s score reached 504. However this match ended in a draw.

Mohammad Rizwan’s county team Sussex Cricket has shared a video on their official Twitter. In this video, Mohammad Rizwan is seen bowling his first over. The team wrote in a tweet that, “He did it. Mohammad Rizwan’s first over in county cricket.” Mohammad Rizwan bowled two overs and conceded five runs in the last innings of this match against Durham.
