However, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has not yet disclosed how much per tag will be charged from passengers for this service. The service, which will be started for registered luggage, is currently under trial under a pilot project. Its commercial launch will be done soon.

Dial said that this service will be for registered luggage. At present, this service will be available only for select passengers traveling frequently on T-3. Dial said that these will be RFID tags. Which are currently accessible only from the lounges of T-3 out of the three terminals here. In the coming time, this can also be taken from T-1 and T-2. This will be a paid service. Right now this service is being started for Arrival Passengers.

To avail this service, passengers will have to attach these RFID tags on their registered bags. For this they have to first register it with their mobile number. Then as soon as he lands at Delhi airport. A message will come on their registered mobile phone. In which it will be told that on which conveyor belt the registered luggage of the passenger will be able to arrive and till what time. However, there is also an announcement about luggage in flight and after arrival at the terminal, this information is also available from the screen near the conveyor belt. But to give more accurate information about this to the passengers, this service is going to start soon.
