The conference will see panel discussions with eminent speakers and experts from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, NITI Aayog, industry forums, startups and academia. In addition, interactive sessions with stakeholders will also be conducted. Sessions have been planned in this conference to establish detailed dialogue with the stakeholders with a view to develop a participatory approach for time bound implementation of policies and programmes.
A roadmap for a healthy India
Its sessions will focus on a range of subjects. These include affordable, accessible and equitable healthcare for all, preparing India for future health emergencies, creating a roadmap for a disease free, healthy India in India, sharing best practices in the health sector. and co-ordination with the states for the concept of ‘Healthy State, Healthy Nation’ etc.
States will be given target for cataract surgery
Cataract surgery has not been done in the last two years due to the corona epidemic. In such a situation, the backlog of corona surgery has increased a lot. In view of this, a target has been set to complete the backlog surgery in 3 years. For this, the target will be given to the states.
