The car can be booked from the company’s official dealership or official website with an advance amount of Rs.50,000. Now new information is coming about its delivery. According to some reports, the company can start the delivery of this three-row SUV from June next month.
Jeep India has launched this SUV in two variants Limited and Limited (O). For your information, let us tell you that the design of the new Jeep Meridian is based on the Jeep Grand Cherokee and it comes with best-in-class features and power-to-weight ratio in its segment.
The Jeep Meridian is the first SUV in the segment to get a completely independent front and rear suspension setup. The SUV is equipped with Frequency Selective Damping (FSD) and Hydraulic Rebound Stopper (HRS), ensuring a comfortable ride and engaging driving experience for all types of roads and terrains.
There is a 4×2 front-wheel drive option available in both the Limited and Limited (O) variants. There is also a choice between a six-speed manual transmission and a nine-speed automatic transmission. On the other hand, a nine-speed automatic transmission is also available with the Limited (O) trim with 4×4 all-wheel drive.
Coming to the engine of the Jeep Meridian, it is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that churns out 170 Bhp of power at 3,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 350 Nm between 1,750-2,500 rpm. The company claims that the car is the most fuel-efficient SUV in the D-segment with a fuel economy of 16.2 kmpl.
To ensure complete comfort for the riders of the car, the SUV gets 840 mm of space between the first and second row and 780 mm between the second and third row, making the Jeep Meridian the most spacious SUV in the segment.
The Jeep Meridian gets many exciting features like Emperador Brown leather seats, third-row cooling with controls, automatic headlamps, diamond cut dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels and many more. The new Jeep Meridian is equipped with the Uconnect 5 which offers a host of connectivity and class leading infotainment features.
