GAIL Bribery Case: CBI registers case against GAIL director in bribery case

GAIL Bribery Case: CBI has registered a case against ES Ranganathan, Director (Marketing) of Public Sector Company GAIL and others in the alleged bribery case. The officials have given this information on Saturday. According to officials, after the registration of the case, the CBI conducted searches at several places in Delhi-NCR including Ranganathan’s house.

Ranganathan is alleged to have demanded money from a middleman. There is an alleged allegation of accepting this bribe for giving discounts in petrochemical products. Let us tell you here that after registering the case on behalf of CBI, raids have also been conducted at many places of Delhi NCR. The raids have been carried out at around 8 places, including the houses of Ranganathan and his close people.

In this bribery scandal, two people living in Delhi played the role of middlemen in this case. CBI is preparing to tighten the noose on the entire network. GAIL India Limited is a Government of India owned company engaged in natural gas processing and distribution. Its headquarter is in Delhi.
