Russian figure skater Mark Kondratyuk won the European Championship, which takes place in Tallinn.
Kondratyuk was second after the short program and won the free skate. At the box office, he performed three quads: a quadruple sheepskin coat, a combination of “quadruple salchow – oiler – triple salchow” and a quadruple salchow. Mark scored 187.50 points.
In total, for two rentals, the Russian has 286.56 points.
The Italian Daniel Grassl (278.48) and the representative of Latvia Denis Vasiliev (272.08) also climbed the podium.
Two more of our single skaters – Andrei Mozalev (265.69) and Evgeny Semenenko (260.00) – took fourth and fifth places, respectively.
Recall that it was Kondratyuk who won the qualifying championship of Russia, which took place at the end of December 2021, and guaranteed himself a ticket to the Beijing Olympics.
