PS Bagga told that the police officers had dragged Tejinder from the house. He did not even allow the son to wear a turban. It is part of their religion. The attitude of the police was very sad.
PS Bagga has asked the Punjabi community to gather support for this. He said, ‘Not allowing the wearing of turban is against our religious principles. We have asked Punjabi brothers to raise their voice against this. In the end Tejinder came back. This is the victory of truth.’
On 6 May, Tejinder Singh Bagga was taken into custody by the Punjab Police after coming to Delhi. It is another matter that in a dramatic development a team of Delhi Police took the custody of Bagga in Kurukshetra, Haryana. She brought them back to the capital with her. Bagga’s father had lodged a kidnapping complaint in this regard. After the registration of the case, Haryana Police stopped the convoy of Punjab Police carrying Bagga in Kurukshetra.
