At present, 192 Kovid-19 patients are admitted in hospitals in Delhi, while 4,189 are in home isolation, the bulletin said. According to this, out of 9,593 beds for Kovid-19 patients in various hospitals, only 208 (2.17 percent) are admitted. Experts have said that the increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in the last few weeks and the infection rate in Delhi does not indicate the beginning of a new wave, but people should take precautions to prevent the spread of the infection.
22 lakh fine imposed from April 22 till now
Delhi has imposed a total fine of Rs 22 lakh on more than 4,500 people for not wearing masks ever since the re-imposition of the mandatory wearing of masks in view of the increase in cases of corona virus infection. This information was revealed in government figures. The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), in a meeting last month, had decided to impose a fine of Rs 500 on those who do not wear masks. The DDMA had again made it mandatory to wear masks in public places in an order issued on 22 April.
