Kejriwal said that the objective of this policy is to provide financial and procedural help to the youth to form companies. He also said that the ‘Business Blaster’ program being run in Delhi government schools will be extended to the college students so that they can work on their business ideas and get the initial funding from the government to start the business.
The Chief Minister said, “The government will provide financial assistance to startups without any guarantee in the form of loans, rent and part of the salary of the employees. A committee of experts, agencies will also be formed to provide free help in registration of trademark and other formalities.
He expressed hope that this policy will give a boost to the startup sector in Delhi.
