David Warner after scoring a half-century against Sunrisers Hyderabad

In the Indian Premier League 2022 for Delhi Capitals, David Warner scored an excellent 92 against Sunrisers Hyderabad. During this, Warner faced 58 balls which included 12 fours and 3 sixes. Along with this, this dashing batsman also made a big record in T20 cricket. Warner has become the first batsman in the world to score the most 89 in this format.

In this case, Warner has left behind West Indies batsman Chris Gayle. Gayle has played 88 half-centuries in T20 cricket. At the same time, former Indian captain Virat Kohli is in third place in this matter. Kohli has scored 50 or more runs in T20 77 times.

Warner’s fourth half-century in season-15

David Warner, playing for Delhi Capitals in IPL 2022, has played a total of 8 matches in which he has scored 356 runs at an average of 59.33, which includes four half-centuries. His unbeaten 92 in this season against Sunrisers has been his highest score so far.

The team of Delhi Capitals bought this Australian player for IPL 2022 for 6.25 crores. Teams like Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings also showed their interest for Warner in the auction.

Sunrisers did not retain Warner in Season-14

David Warner was a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad for a long time in the IPL but the franchise did not retain him last season. Warner’s performance in the IPL last year was very disappointing due to which the franchise was stripped of the captaincy from him and handed over the captaincy to Kane Williamson.

Not only this, in season-14, Warner was also unable to make it to the Sunrisers’ playing XI and he was seen sitting in the dugout on several occasions.
