The official distributor of Chery in Russia (Chery Automobiles Rus) is preparing to introduce a new brand to the Russian market with a separate dealer network, which will develop in parallel with Exeed and Chery. The information was confirmed by Anton Ganzha, Business Development Director of Chery Automobiles Rus.
Now we see how a number of brands are leaving our country at the peak of their development, leaving behind renovated auto centers with ideally built business processes, trained staff and shareholders who have managed to make good money over the past two years. Our partnership with them can be mutually beneficial. We will build a new network aimed at a new audience, including through the service base of departed brands, and thus help to keep jobs, trained and successful employees, and enable both the business and the people working for it to survive.
He added that it will be “a full-fledged brand with a full-fledged model line”, which is in the same price segment as Chery. The first model will be the Omoda 5 crossover, which should be presented very soon.
If all current cars of the Chery brand represent the 2.0 generation, then this crossover was created in a new architecture and belongs to the 3.0 generation. The goal of the new brand is to reach new customers who are different from the owners of Chery cars and, of course, increase sales by creating a new dealer network in Russia.
