New Delhi. Team India has to bear the big brunt of losing the series against South Africa. After losing the series to South Africa in the Cape Town Test, the Indian team slipped to fifth place in the World Test Championship table.
The Indian team, the runners-up of the WTC first season, is currently in fifth place in the second season with 49.07 percentile points (PCT). India played nine Tests in the second season, winning four, losing three and drawing two. India has total 53 marks but the calculation is done by PCT. After the second Test, India were fourth with 55.21 pcts and South Africa was fifth with 50 pcts.
South Africa moved to fourth place after winning the Cape Town Test. Sri Lanka is on top with 100 PCTs while Australia is second and Pakistan is third. Previous champions New Zealand are in sixth place.
