On Tuesday, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi started the Adivasi Satyagraha conference for the next six months in the tribal areas of the state by holding a rally among the tribals in Dahod, Gujarat. These conferences will be organized in the tribal dominated areas from Umargaon to Ambaji in the coming days. In these, the Congress will take up the development of the tribal section and the main issues related to them, along with regular contact with them. It is noteworthy that these areas have been traditionally dominated by the Congress since the beginning, but due to the roots established by the BJP here in the last two decades, the tribal section kept moving away from the Congress.

The big leader of the tribal community joined hands with Chhotu Bhai Vasava and his Bhartiya Tribal Party. As a result, it got 17 seats in tribal-dominated areas. Seeing this power of the tribals, all the political parties are trying to make them towards them. Recently, the Aam Aadmi Party also tried to extend its hand towards them.
