An era is gone: Apple sold out all remaining stocks of the iPod touch in one day – News

It’s only been one day since Apple announced the cessation of production of iPod touch players. And while the company said customers can still buy devices before stocks run out, they didn’t last long. The matter is that all stocks of iPod touch are completely sold out in Apple online store in the USA.

Just yesterday morning, there were several iPod models available on the site, mostly with 32 GB of flash memory, but on the same day all stocks ran out. The seventh generation iPod touch was available in six different colors, including space gray, silver, pink, blue, gold, and red. Customers could choose between 32 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB of internal flash storage. The product page now says sold out.

In addition to online, there are Apple retail stores where you can look for the player. Also, devices may still be available for purchase on Amazon and other places for some time.

The iPod touch was the last product available under the iPod brand since Apple discontinued the iPod nano and iPod shuffle in 2017. The latest available iPod touch was released in 2019.
