2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift to be launched tomorrow – News

New Delhi. 2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift will be launched in India tomorrow. It is being awaited in India for a long time. The company has also started bookings for the updated model earlier this month for Rs 21,000. The new Venue has already started arriving at the local dealerships and in such a situation, it is being speculated that it will be delivered to the customers in time.

The new Hyundai facelift will be available with three engine options, which could include a 1.2-litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. In terms of transmission options, there will be a 5-speed manual unit, a 6-speed manual unit, an IMT unit and a 7-speed DCT unit.

The outgoing Venue is available in the price bracket of Rs 7.11 lakh to Rs 11.84 lakh. The new model will come in 6 trim levels – E, S, S+, S(O), SX and SX(O). With several new features and improved styling, the new model is expected to see a marginal price hike. We expect the new Venue to be priced between Rs 7.5 lakh and Rs 12.25 lakh.

There will be no mechanical changes in the new model. It will continue to be offered with 3 engine options – an 83bhp, 1.2L 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol, a 118bhp, 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol and a 99bhp, 1.5-litre turbo-diesel. The 1.2-litre petrol engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, while the 1.0-litre turbo unit will be offered with IMT and DCT. The diesel version will get a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift will come with a revised front fascia, which is inspired by the new Tucson. It gets a new grille with dark chrome, a more pronounced faux skid plate, a split headlamp setup with LED DRLs at the top and the main headlamp sits below. The turn indicators on the upper lighting elements look like extensions of the grille.

The SUV comes with new alloy wheels and wheel caps. At the rear, the new Venue gets a completely revised tailgate with new tail-lights attached via LED light bars. It gets a revised bumper that gets the blacked out treatment with brake lighting at both the corners, and a prominent faux silver skid plate.

The new Hyundai Venue will be offered with two interior schemes – dual-tone black and beige, and all-black treatment, including a new four-spoke steering wheel, a fully digital instrument console and a drive mode selector on the center console. With 3 drive modes – Eco, Normal and Sport.

The Venue facelift also comes with a host of high-end features. The SUV now supports Home to Car (H2C) with Alexa and Google Voice Assistant. It also offers 60+ BlueLink connected features and a segment-first 2 step rear reclining seat. The SUV also gets a new feature – Sounds of Nature – which also plays the sounds of fire or ocean waves while driving.
